February 20th - meeting my Cambridge artist friend Karen Stamper in Leeds City Gallery.  Karen is a collage artist and yoga expert. She runs brilliant art and yoga holidays in Cambridge and France. Karen was an artistic inspiration to me teaching me much much about collage and pushing me to 'try everything' whilst I was living in Cambridge. She introduced me to Cambridge Open Studios and is one of the reasons I'm an artist now.  We had painting nights every Thursday in my cellar of a kitchen in Panton Street.  Ah ... those were the days . .
